Secubond®: PVC Coated Weldable Solutions

With quality and innovation at its core, Bowmer Bond introduces Secubond®, a range of PVC-coated weldable webbing-based solutions.

Secubond® products combine cost-effective solutions with assured strength, durability, flexibility and performance.

Applications using the PVC coated weldable webbing:

  • Side Curtain reinforcement
  • Signage, banners and building wraps
  • Biogas and general agricultural covers (i.e. Silo covers)
  • Tensile structures
  • Marquees, tents and big tops
  • Swimming pool covers
  • Oil retention inflatable booms

Our Quality Assurance:

  • We operate an ISO 9001 certified Quality Management System
  • Our 1300 Kgf and 2400 Kgf webbings meet the strength requirements of EN 12641-2:2006 and have been externally tested by DEKRA
  • Our polyester yarn is a quality-assured, high tenacity
  • We produce our own first quality substrate prior to coating

The Secubond® PVC coated weldable range includes:

  • Para-Aramid Webbing: A range of para-aramid webbings engineered to satisfy applications requiring specialist performance such as tensile strength and elongation control.
  • Woven-Loop: The woven loop design offers a PVC-coated weldable surface on one side and a woven attachment loop on the other. This removes the need for metal grommets and pre-assembly. Ideal for use in building wraps and banner/signage applications.

We have in-house test facilities for yarn testing, infrared reflectance (IRR) and PVC welding performance.

We use external, internationally-recognised institutions for industry-specific testing, e.g. DEKRA, SATRA and BTTG.
