Specialist performance webbings using Aramid yarns (Technora®, Nomex® and Kevlar®) with essential properties such as flame retardancy are supplied into these sectors.
The fibre types commonly used for applications in this sector are Polypropylene, Polyester and Nylon.
In this sector where the performance of life-saving equipment is critical, the use of webbing and webbing products that conform to the highest industry standards is paramount.
For applications where high strength and high modulus are needed, in addition to flame retardancy, we can produce webbings from technical yarns such as Technora®, Nomex®, Kevlar® and Dyneema®.
An additional, superior feature of some of the technical yarns is the “no melt/no drip” characteristic which serves as a critical attribute for firefighting equipment and apparel.
