On Friday 20th May, our Warehouseman, Denis Blood, retired after almost 25 years’ continuous employment with Bowmer Bond.
Denis has been a long-serving, reliable employee whose key responsibilities are taking deliveries of stock, loading vehicles with outgoing orders from despatch, raw materials stock control and warehouse management. In addition to this, Denis has also been instrumental in ensuring that our export despatches are loaded in good order and with the accompanying documentation from the export department.
Denis worked for Bowmer Bond for a short time as a young man, coming back to the company later in 1997 where he has been a loyal employee to the present day.
We would like to wish Denis all the best for a 'Happy Retirement'.

[To explain the presentation photo, Denis has a particular fondness for a certain type of crisp… so it was only right that, as a small part of his leaving gift, we gave him a supply to last a short while!!]
