Solutions tailored to the Commercial Vehicle Industry

As the transport and logistics world prepares for Solutrans 2025 in November, we’re proud to highlight Bowmer Bond’s long-standing connection with the commercial vehicle industry — supporting curtain manufacturers and OEMs in developing stronger, safer, and more reliable trailer solutions.

Strength – Reliability – Compliance

Webbing solutions for the commercial vehicle industry – Secubond® – the trusted choice for EN12641-2:2006 compliant curtain systems

Our Secubond® PVC-coated weldable webbing is trusted by manufacturers across Europe for use in side curtain assemblies, helping ensure compliance with EN12641-2:2006, the recognised standard for curtain-sided trailer strength and safety. This essential component forms a robust bond with the PVC curtain material, enhancing load restraint performance and extending product life.

SecuBond Innovation Logo

Alongside our polyester bottom straps and webbing assemblies, the Secubond® range is engineered for load restraint, reinforcement, and accessory applications – from foils and kites to other internal curtain support systems. The benefits are clear: improved durability, weldability, and a consistent, secure bond that performs under the toughest transport conditions.

Recent innovations within the Secubond® range further strengthen its versatility and value for OEMs. The Secubond® Woven-Loop Webbing – a single-sided PVC-coated webbing with integrated woven loops – offers a lightweight, flexible solution ideal for truck tarpaulin roofs and automotive applications. Bowmer Bond has developed a flatter woven loop design which holds roof straps securely in place during processing and transit, improving efficiency, reducing labour time and ensuring a reliable weldable connection to the PVC sheet.

For high-performance and specialist load restraint applications, our Secubond® Para-Aramid Webbing delivers exceptional tensile strength, low elongation, and temperature resistance, making it ideal for side curtain reinforcement, load arrest systems, and other demanding environments. With a higher strength-to-weight ratio than standard polyester, it ensures tension stability and long-term performance under continuous stress.

As a component partner to OEMs and, indirectly, trailer manufacturers, Bowmer Bond works collaboratively to develop and refine webbing solutions that keep fleets on the move and loads secure.

We’ll be visiting Solutrans 2025 this November, and look forward to connecting with manufacturers, designers and engineers across the trailer and curtain sector to discuss how our innovative webbing solutions can help strengthen your next design.

If you’re attending Solutrans 2025, we’d love to connect!
